Cocktail is the new Bollywood romantic masala movie with Saif Ali Khan (Gautam), Deepika Padukone (Veronica) and Diana Penty (Meera) in lead roles. Cocktail is from Saif Ali Khan’s owned production house direct by Homi Adajania.

The shooting of movie started in late May 2011 and shots have been taken on many popular streets of London. The film shows a love triangle where Saif Ali Khan playing the role of Gautam is big flirt, who tries hitting on every girl he sees or meets. The character is a fun loving guy who tries every possible way to meet up new girls and make it upto them. Deepika Padukone is playing the role of Veronica who is a hot bombshell who loves to party hard and don’t give a damn about anyone. She lives her life on her own terms enjoy every aspect of it. Deepika looks too hot and sensuous in this role. Diana Penty a new girl is playing the role of Meera who is a pretty girl who comes from Delhi, India to London with her dreams of becoming successful with her attached middle class thinking and desi values..

Rumors are there that Deepika was given an option to choose between both the roles in the starting of the film and she chose the role of hot sizzling ‘Veronica’ because it looked familiar and enjoyable to her. If we are not forgetting she had done a similar fun loving role ‘Love Aaj Kal’ where she was shown as a girl of modern youth discovering her passions with love. By seeing the video below we can imagine that why she chose that role and I thank god for that because she looks very stunning and sets the party mood with the Punjabi hit ‘Angrezi beat‘ by Honey Singh.
